Road Safety Through Play at "Yana Laskova" Kindergarten
"Yana Laskova" Kindergarten has successfully implemented the innovative educational project "Interactive Mini-City". The initiative aims to build practical skills and knowledge for safe behavior on the road from a very early age.
How did the project unfold?
All age groups participated in creating the urban environment model:
- The youngest: Made models of buildings.
- Third group: Created various vehicles.
- Preparatory groups: Crafted traffic signs and infrastructure elements.
"The project combines creativity with important life lessons, turning learning into a fun adventure," the educators shared.
The finale: Safety Parade
The culmination of the project was an exciting parade around the kindergarten building. During the event, the children demonstrated:
- Recognition of basic traffic signs.
- Correct behavior when crossing and moving in a real-world environment.
- Understanding of everyday traffic situations.
This initiative is the latest step by "Yana Laskova" Kindergarten in building a lasting culture of safety and responsibility in future pedestrians and drivers.
