  1. Authorship. Send only material you created or have the right to provide. The sender is liable for infringed third-party rights.
  2. Licence. You grant BurgasMedia a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free right to use the material: publish, edit, shorten, translate, combine with other material, distribute on the site, in the app and on the outlet’s social profiles. You keep your copyright and may use the material elsewhere.
  3. Editing. Material is checked and may be edited or declined. The newsroom is not obliged to publish and owes no payment.
  4. Byline. We publish under the name you give, or anonymously (“a BurgasMedia reader”) if you give none.
  5. Personal data. Phone/e-mail are used only to contact you and are never published. Do not send third parties’ personal data without a legal basis. People in photos from public places are allowed under journalism rules.
  6. Withdrawal. You may ask for removal at [email protected]; we remove it within a reasonable time unless the publication is a matter of public interest.
