International Street Art Festival 6Fest: Magic on the streets of Bulgaria

This year, the street art festival 6Fest will turn Sofia, Varna, and Tsarevo into a stage for world-class performances. Organizer Momchil Tsonev announced that artists from Bulgaria, Germany, Chile, Argentina, and Serbia will present unique performances from July 1st to July 7th.

The festival is a recipient of the prestigious EFFE Label from the European Festivals Association for 2026-2027.

Program by city:

  • Sofia (July 1-2): The NDK park will come alive with the light procession of "Fireter" and the spectacle of the German group "Stelzen-Art".
  • Varna (July 4-5): The city debuts as a host of the festival with carnival processions and living statues by the Serbian artists from "Matrix Entertainment".
  • Tsarevo (July 6-7): The final of the tour will offer fairy tale characters from "Alice in Wonderland" and glowing puppets.

The program also includes the Bulgarian groups Gestus Theatre and Metamorphosis Theatre, as well as circus artists Slamproject from Chile and Pibe90 from Argentina.

The events are realized with the support of the Sofia Municipality, the Culture Fund of Varna Municipality, and the Tsarevo Municipality. 6Fest continues its mission to bring art directly to the public, having delighted thousands in 10 Bulgarian cities since 2017.
