Pomorie council and the "Svetlina 1939" and "Prosveta 1888" chitalishte community centres invite residents and visitors to a torchlight procession and two concerts on Friday, 30 October, the eve of National Revival Leaders' Day.

The procession, organised by "Svetlina 1939", leaves the courtyard of the St George the Victorious monastery at 5pm. Marchers will carry portraits of the national revival figures.

The first concert starts at 5.20pm in the theatre hall of the same centre, and entry is free. The performers are the "Svetulka" children's theatre studio, the "Trakiyka" singing group, the "Veselushko" kindergarten, the "Hristo Botev" primary school, Freya Braykova, Andrea Spasova and Dimitar Lazov.

At 7pm the festive programme moves to the hall of the "Prosveta 1888" centre. Stefan Mitrov, the "Ultraviolet" dance group and the "Shturche" and "Talanti" vocal groups from the "Ivan Vazov" secondary school will perform. Tickets are needed for this concert.
