Bulgaria's first Korean reading room will open on 5 November at the Peyo Yavorov Regional Library in Burgas. The opening is part of Korea Day, which the South Korean embassy in Bulgaria and Burgas council are organising.

The reading room is called Window on Korea. It opens at 3pm, and visitors to the library can try Korean calligraphy and watch short films.

At 5pm the programme moves to the Burgas State Opera. Anyone can take a taekwondo or K-pop lesson and try Korean food, and there is a stage show in the evening. The organisers promise a taekwondo show billed as "the most spectacular taekwondo show in the world" and "many surprises". The opera's listing for the event also gives a time of 6:30pm.

Entry to all events is free until the seats run out.
