Burgas's Complex Oncology Centre will hold a team quiz on men's health and prevention on 2 November, the centre said. It starts at 6pm at the Peyo Yavorov Regional Library.

Three teams will take part: Burgas council, Prof. Dr Asen Zlatarov University in Burgas and the oncology centre itself.

The quiz is part of Movember, an international men's health campaign. It will focus on early detection and prevention of prostate and testicular cancer, and on mental health.

Organisers want to raise interest in health and prevention and encourage people to take responsibility for their own well-being.

The centre says health should be discussed openly and in plain terms, with the support of the whole community, and should be at the centre of public debate. It says joint work by institutions, education and doctors helps prevention reach more people.

The quiz's motto is "knowledge is power, and caring for your health is a responsibility".
