In the lively atmosphere of the "Morsko Kazino" Cultural Center, the opening of a significant cultural event is forthcoming. On October 21st, at 6:00 PM, the doors of the "Alexander Georgiev Kodjakafaliyata" hall will open for an exhibition showcasing the work of lecturers from the National Academy of Arts - Sofia, the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk.

The exhibition, titled "Creative Meetings", is an international project aimed at building lasting connections between the Bulgarian and Polish academies. The focus is placed on dialogue, the exchange of artistic practices, and cooperation in the field of art education. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the exhibition until November 5th. The exhibition includes a selection of works by lecturers from the three leading institutions.

The project was initiated by the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Warsaw. Its activity is focused on supporting partnerships and the exchange of ideas in order to improve mutual understanding between Bulgaria and Poland. The driving force behind the project is the director of the institute, Dr. Petar Lyanguzov, who shared the vision behind the initiative: "The main idea is to "visit" the non-capital space, developing and supporting further creative contacts between the Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia and related universities in the other Polish cities... the next bridges of cooperation in the field of culture and spirituality between Bulgaria and Poland will be erected".

The exhibition features Assoc. Prof. Dr. Regina Dalkalcheva, Prof. Dr. Manya Vaptsarova, and Prof. Svetozar Benchev from the National Academy of Arts. Works by Prof. Dr. Marek Wrzesinski from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, as well as Prof. Dr. Dorota Sak and Prof. Dr. Marek Sak from the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, are also presented.

The beginning of this significant project was laid in 2024 with a joint representative exhibition at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Warsaw. The first meeting brought together lecturers from the three academies, who laid the foundation for future partnership. In June 2025, the exhibition was presented in the prestigious "Kobra" gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, solidifying the artistic dialogue between Bulgarian and Polish artists with the exhibition "Creative Meetings - Lodz". In September-October 2025, the exhibition was also presented in the "Akademia" Gallery, Sofia.

The event at the "Morsko Kazino" Cultural Center is the next important step in the development of the cultural bridge between the National Academy of Arts and the two Polish academies of fine arts - in Lodz and Gdansk. The exhibition builds upon the already established partnerships and gives a new impetus for artistic exchange between Bulgaria and Poland. It not only demonstrates the current creative pursuits of the lecturers but also creates a space for future collaboration, sharing of experience, and inter-institutional links.
