Civil Aviation Administration imposes sanctions on airport operators due to poor passenger service
The Civil Aviation Administration (CAA) has uncovered numerous violations during an inspection of ground operators servicing the airports in Sofia, Varna, and Burgas. Problems have been identified with hygiene, passenger service, and provision of information, for which maximum foreseen penalties will be imposed. The CAA has issued instructions for improving the services, and will continue intensive monitoring until sustained improvement is achieved.

Rapid response of environmental protection teams in case of oil spill in Burgas
The team of the Regional Laboratory - Burgas at the Executive Environment Agency carried out an immediate inspection of a signal for an oil spill in the area of the Rosenets oil base, Burgas. The presence of a visible film and opalescence from oil products in the water area has been established, as a result of a technical problem with a motor yacht. Samples have been taken for analysis, and the information has been forwarded to the competent authorities.
