Nature conservation initiative "BioBlitz Belasitsa 2025" united citizens and institutions
In May 2025, the Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water - Blagoevgrad organized a nature conservation initiative "BioBlitz Belasitsa 2025" within the framework of the European Natura 2000 Day. The event encouraged citizens to document the biodiversity in the protected area of Belasitsa, and the results were registered on the international platform Observation.org.
The Municipality of Nesebar approves 271 candidates for cleaner air in the region.
The Municipality of Nessebar has successfully launched a project financed under the "Environment 2021 - 2027" Program to improve air quality in the region. 271 candidates have been approved and will be invited to sign individual participation contracts for the initiative.
