Lifeguards sought for 8 beaches in Varna: Regional administration announces tender

Public procurement for water rescue in Varna District

The Varna District Administration has announced a public procurement for providing water rescue services for eight unguarded beaches. The initiative aims to ensure the safety of tourists during the upcoming summer season.

The updated cost of one lifeguard post for a period of 3 months amounts to 17,000 euros excluding VAT.

Which beaches are included?

• Varna Municipality: "Fichoza – Part 2" beach
• Avren Municipality: "Romantika" beach
• Dolni Chiflik Municipality: "Kamchiya – North 1", "Kamchiya – North 4", and "Shkorpilovtsi – North" beaches

The deadline for submitting offers is May 28. The projected period for the operation of the lifeguard posts is until mid-September. The total number of unguarded beaches in the region remains unchanged compared to last year – a total of 27.
