Pomorie approves two infrastructure projects with electrical energy significance

On June 26, 2025, the local administration of Pomorie published two strategic documents that determine the future development of the electric grid in the municipality. The decisions were adopted in strict compliance with legal provisions and zoning norms.

The first decision No. 510 of June 5, 2025, refers to a large-scale electricity storage project in the Kableshkovo area. The project provides for the construction of a facility with an installed capacity of 60 megawatts and a capacity of 120 megawatt-hours, which will be integrated into the existing power transmission network.

The technical specification includes the construction of a new cable line with a voltage of 110 kilovolts, which will connect the new energy facility with the "Kableshkovo" substation. The route passes through land plots with identifiers 35033.6.455 and 35033.6.456 and will develop parallel to the third-class road III-6009, connecting Karnobat, Burgas, Kableshkovo, and Ahloy.

The total length of the cable line outside the urbanized area amounts to 2,114.18 meters. During design, all applicable zoning plans and necessary easement zones were taken into account.

The second decision No. 511, adopted on the same day, deals with external electrical supply for villa buildings in the Lahana area of Pomorie. The project provides for the construction of a power line in a land plot with identifier 57491.19.776.

The cable line will pass through an agricultural road – municipal public property, with identifier 57491.19.568. The area of the affected route amounts to 124 square meters, and the cable length is 103 meters.

Both decisions were adopted based on Articles 21 and 29 of the respective normative acts, ensuring legality and precision in the implementation of infrastructure projects.
