The court will hear the case today, at a session starting at 1.30pm.

Hristina, 35, died in the crash. Her young son Martin was seriously hurt and is still recovering.

The trial began in early July with witness questioning. The man who gave the ATV to Burgazliev told the court it was in full working order when he handed it over.

In late August, the court heard expert witnesses over two days. They said firmly that the electric buggy had no problem with its brakes or its accelerator pedal.

The court accepted the expert reports, including the finding that the defendant had used marijuana before the crash.
