Recognition for Spirituality in Nesebar
On the eve of May 24th – the Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture, the city of Nesebar marked the holiday with an official ceremony. "Zhulieta Shishmanova" Square gathered the community to honor those who stand behind the successes of future generations.
"I wish you health, happiness, and inspiration in your difficult but noble mission to build the future worthy and honorable individuals of our municipality," stated Mayor Nikolay Dimitrov.
A total of 33 distinguished teachers, principals, and cultural figures received recognition for their professionalism and dedication. The mayor emphasized that education remains the greatest value and that teachers are the modern-day enlighteners who keep Bulgarian spirituality alive.
