UNESCO's city of Nessebar maintains its leading position as a preferred destination for wedding tourism, recording a growth in marriages in 2025. A total of 182 marriages were concluded last year, with the majority of them taking place in the Nessebar and Sunny Beach area. A great variety of couples is noted, including mixed marriages and weddings between foreign citizens.

Interest in Nessebar as a wedding venue continues to grow. Among the numerous marriages, mixed marriages between Bulgarians and citizens from other countries stand out, as well as weddings between foreigners. Weddings are held both within the municipality's territory and during outdoor ceremonies. The diversity of wedding styles and themes is remarkable, including weddings with thematic dress codes and those with traditional elements.

Most marriages were concluded in September, and among the interesting moments are ceremonies with unique details. Nessebar Municipality is actively working to establish the city as an ideal wedding destination, which attracts couples from all over the world seeking unforgettable memories and a beautiful setting for their special day.
