Educational initiative for children's health in Nessebar

On the occasion of World Hand Hygiene Day, students from various schools and kindergartens in the Municipality of Nessebar took part in a special educational initiative. The campaign is aimed at building sustainable hygiene habits from an early age.

"Save lives: Clean your hands" was the motto under which the event took place, organized with the support of the Municipality of Nessebar and the Regional Health Inspectorate (RZI) – Burgas.

How did the campaign unfold?

Specialists from the RZI presented an interactive presentation through which the children learned about key topics:

  • The importance of proper hand washing.
  • When and how it is correct to use disinfectants.
  • The health risks posed by dirty hands.
  • How personal hygiene protects others from infections.

The initiative is part of the large-scale national campaign of the Ministry of Health. The goal is not just to increase awareness, but to turn cleanliness into a daily healthy habit.
