A 70-year-old woman from Burgas suffered a chest injury while traveling on a public transport bus. The incident occurred on Saturday around 07:20 a.m. on "Ivan Vazov" street, near the Burgas railway station, according to the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior.

The incident took place after the 46-year-old driver of a "Solaris Urbino" bus braked suddenly to avoid a traffic accident. Due to the sharp maneuver, the elderly passenger fell onto the floor of the vehicle.

The injured woman was transported to the University Hospital (UMBAL) – Burgas for an examination. After receiving medical assistance, she was released for home treatment.
