French Kiss in Burgas: A Concert for Love and Paris

Burgas will be immersed in the atmosphere of Parisian chic and sensuality on October 9, when the latest music and stage project of the Burgas cultural institute - "French Kiss" - will take place in the hall of the State Opera - Burgas.

The concert story, created by Maestro Stratsimir Pavlov, promises an unforgettable experience for all fans of French culture and romance.

The spectacle, which will begin at 7:00 PM, will present to the Burgas audience an interpretation of the beauties of Paris and the nuances of love. Maestro Pavlov, who is behind the conductor's baton, but is also a pianist, author of the concept, script and arrangements, promises an evening filled with emotions.

After the impressive success of "French Kiss" at the "Days of Classics" festival in Balchik at the end of July, where the premiere of the concert took place, and the subsequent triple encore on the open stage of "St. Anastasia" Island, as well as successful performances in Pomorie and Tsarevo, the citizens of Burgas will have the privilege of touching the charm of France through this exciting musical project.

Expectations are high, as the audience will be taken on a romantic journey through Paris. Those present in the hall will immerse themselves in the secrets of the French capital, feel the charm of Montmartre, the magnetism of the Champs Elysees and the flashes of the Seine. Art lovers will be symbolically transported under the bridges of the river, on a journey to the most tender part of themselves. Beautiful music and dance will complement the atmosphere, capturing the stifled sighs of lovers, as the "dance of love" will be conveyed through spirit, messages and presence.

The musical and stage charm of "French Kiss" will be recreated by exceptional soloists, immersed in the spirit of French finesse. Sopranos Maria Tsvetkova-Madzharova and Nona Krastnikova, along with tenors Yani Nikolov and Milen Dinolov, promise unforgettable performances.

The overall picture of the musical and stage narrative will be supported by sophisticated text, presented by the presenter Petar Tiholov, combined with beautiful music, performed with taste and a sense of French culture by the musicians of the Burgas Opera orchestra. Concertmaster Hristo Belchev will conduct the orchestra. The thematic multimedia is the work of Nikola Peshev, and the elegant drawing of the bodies of the ballet soloists - the alternating couples Laya Ramon and Kiril Filipov, as well as Julia Letzi and Patrick Gil - will present brilliant plastic studies by choreographer Maria Zmeeva-Markova. All the artists will be in the tonality of the "intoxicating wine of love".

The program of "French Kiss", selected with taste and a sense of the French worldview and the attitudes of the audience, includes musical works from the film "Borsalino", as well as songs such as "Sons Le Ciel De Paris", "La Boheme" (Aznavour), "Itsi Bitsi Petit Bikini" (Dalida), "La Vie en Rose" (Edith Piaf), "Padam, padam", "La mer", "Histoire d"un amour", "Amelie" Suite, "La Danse de Zorba", "Chareauvallon", "Et Si Tu N"existais pas", "Le Tempos des fleurs", "Paroles, paroles", "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg" and many others.

The next performance of the exciting concert program is planned for October 10 at the House of Culture "Arsenal" in Kazanlak from 7:00 PM. Before the end of the year, there will also be guest performances in other cities in Bulgaria, including Nova Zagora, Varna, Nessebar, Karlovo, Gabrovo, Razgrad, Sliven, Dobrich and others.

It is expected that not only the wonderful soloists and Maestro Stratsimir Pavlov, but also the classy choreography of Marina Zmeeva-Markova, conveyed in an admirable way by the two ballet dancers, as well as the emotional performance of the musicians of the orchestra, will be a prerequisite for an event that will remain in the memories of everyone, with its breath of summer, the taste of French refined wine and the promise of love.
