Two Laps Around the Park: A Comedy about Love, Loneliness, and Chances

"Two Laps Around the Park" - a heartfelt and funny comedy, promises to reveal to the audience stories about love, loneliness and the all-important second chances. The performance, which is expected to attract attention, promises to combine laughter with depth, truth, and human vulnerability, key elements of any worthwhile theatrical story.

The first part of the play introduces us to the actor Leon, played by Georgi Karkelanov, and the policewoman Margaret, who will be presented by Polina Nedkova. These two lonely souls are brought together by fate in an unexpected way, after a complaint about loud music, according to the story. The performance promises witty dialogues and comic situations, but beneath the surface lie fears, insecurity and a thirst for closeness. The audience can expect to see how these emotions unfold on stage, adding a layer of emotional depth to the comedy.

In the second part of the play, the audience will meet Eddie and Gus, played by Stefka Yanorova and Georgi Kadurin. This couple, having lost the spark of youth, is desperately looking for a way to revive their relationship. They will resort to strange therapeutic exercises in an attempt to save their love. The promise is that laughter will give way to deep confessions and unexpected tenderness, demonstrating how love can be preserved and find a new path in life. This reminds the audience that love doesn't always go away, but sometimes it's just waiting to be rediscovered.

The performance is directed by Stefan Spasov, with the set design and costumes by Nina Pashova. The music is entrusted to Doni (Dobrin Vekilov), and the choreography to Katya Tosheva. This combination promises humor, warmth and emotion, which will turn into an inspiring theatrical experience.
