Classics and Passion under the Stars of Burgas

On July 23, the Summer Theatre in Burgas will transform into a stage of aristocratic luxury and whirlwind emotion. The latest performance of "The Csárdás Princess" promises an unforgettable evening as part of the "Emil Chakurov" Burgas Music Festivals 2026.

"A good waiter should know everything, and a good husband – nothing" – a line that will make you laugh on stage.

The production by Prof. Dr. Alexander Tekeliev combines masterful direction with impressive scenography by Ivan Tokadzhiev. Under the baton of Ivan Kozhuharov, the orchestra of the State Opera – Burgas will bring the musical masterpieces of Emmerich Kálmán to life.

Star Cast

  • Yoana Kadiyska as Silva and Penyo Pirozov as Edwin will recreate the thrilling love story.
  • Yordan Hristozov (Boni) and Maria Yurkovskaya (Stasi) will bring a sparkling sense of humor and artistry.
