The performance “The Csárdás Princess” by Imre Kálmán will be the first performance in December on the stage of the State Opera Burgas, the cultural institution announced.

The performance on December 2nd will be conducted by Ivan Kozhuharov. The direction is by Prof. Dr. Alexander Tekeliev, the scenography – by Ivan Tokadjiev, and the costumes – by Yana Dvoretska. The choreographer is Marina Zmeeva-Markova, assistant director – Lina Peeva, accompanist – Iliana Todorova. The choir is under the direction of Alexander Chepanov. 

Yoana Kadiyska (Silva Varescu) and guest from the National Music Theater “Stefan Makedonski“ Penyo Pirozov (Edwin) will participate in the main roles. Yani Nikolov and Maria Yurkovskaya will perform in the roles of Boni and Stasi, respectively. Kostadin Mechkov (Feri), Miroslav Dimitrov (Mishka), Lyudmila Mihaylova (Cilika), as well as Milen Dinolov (notary Kish), Petar Tiholov (the Prince) and Emil Peychev (the General) also participate in the performance.

The State Opera Burgas points out that the performance is part of a series of events included in the program related to Burgas's candidacy for European Capital of Culture 2032.
