The municipality of Pomorie introduces new rules for the movement of electric vehicles.

In connection with the increasing number of citizens moving with bicycles, scooters and electric scooters in pedestrian zones, the Municipality of Pomorie has introduced an amendment and supplement to Ordinance No. 5 on the organization of transport activities. The aim is to increase safety and ensure peaceful movement of people in the central pedestrian areas of the city.

According to the new rules, the movement of IEPS is prohibited on the sidewalks of all populated areas, with the exception of marked bicycle lanes. It is also forbidden to move and park IEPS in parks, gardens, squares, children's and sports grounds, pedestrian streets and alleys. Compliance with these measures will be monitored by employees of the Municipality of Pomorie and the Regional Police Department.

The steps taken are aimed at minimizing the risk of incidents related to the use of individual electric vehicles in the pedestrian zones of the municipality. The residents and guests of Pomorie are called upon to comply with the new rules in order to ensure the safety of all.
