Nessebar Municipality supports the “Partnership for the Rare” initiative

With care for the most vulnerable, Nessebar Municipality officially joins as a supporter of the significant “Partnership for the Rare” campaign. The project is aimed at improving the quality of life for people with rare diseases and disabilities in the Burgas region.

“Solidarity and inclusion are key to building a stronger society,” emphasize the organizers.

What are the goals of the initiative?

  • Building a sustainable model for cooperation between institutions and non-governmental organizations.
  • Protecting the rights and dignity of people with rare diagnoses.
  • Active participation of the affected individuals in the social life of the region.

“Advocacy Hub Burgas” – hope for families

One of the most important highlights of the project is the creation of an “Advocacy Hub Burgas”. From September 1, 2026, the center will provide completely free:

  • Health consultations;
  • Legal aid;
  • Psycho-social support for families.

The project is implemented by the Bulgarian Huntington Association and the “Young Doctors” Association – Burgas, with funding from the European Union and the Open Society Institute – Sofia (OSIS) Foundation.
