Ahead of the new school year, the Municipality of Nessebar is renovating the schoolyard and sports infrastructure at the "Ivan Vazov" Professional High School of Tourism, located in Sunny Beach West. The project aims to transform part of the existing space into a modern and safe zone for sports and recreation that fully meets contemporary standards.

Once the site is renovated, students at the high school will be able to use a multifunctional facility suitable for ball games, with key features including:

  • The creation of a modern track for athletic disciplines.
  • The installation of entirely new equipment, including soccer goals.
  • The setup of volleyball posts with the necessary safety nets and professional basketball structures.

"Investing in school and sports infrastructure is the most reliable way to motivate our children to lead a healthy and active lifestyle. By renovating the yard at the "Ivan Vazov" Professional High School of Tourism in Sunny Beach, we are creating a safe, modern, and inspiring environment that meets all current standards for sports. Our goal is for every school in the municipality to have facilities that cater to the students' daily needs for physical education," commented the Mayor of Nessebar, Nikolay Dimitrov.

The administration expects all construction and installation work to be completed on time so that the renovated facility can be commissioned and ready to welcome students at the start of the 2026/2027 school year.
