The Council of Ministers is meeting at 10:00 a.m. to review the budget estimate for the preparation and conduct of the presidential and vice-presidential elections scheduled for October 25. This was announced by the government press office.

The cabinet's agenda includes a total of 41 items. Among them is a draft decision to approve the annual budget estimates for the National Fund's European Union funds for 2026. Ministers will also discuss a proposal to the National Assembly for the ratification of Amendment No. 1 to the Framework Agreement between the Ministry of Economy of Bulgaria and Lockheed Martin Global INC, concerning the F-16 Block 70 Industrial Cooperation Program. The document was signed on June 1, 2026, in Sofia and on June 15, 2026, in Washington, USA.

During the meeting, the country's positions and the composition of the Bulgarian government delegation for participation in the 81st session of the UN General Assembly will be determined. The cabinet is also set to review a draft Decree approving additional transfers to municipalities for 2026. The funds are intended to compensate parents for the upbringing and education of children who were not admitted to state or municipal kindergartens and schools due to a lack of available places between May 1 and June 30, 2026.

The agenda also includes a discussion of the Cooperation Plan between the health ministries of Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia for the 2026–2028 period. The government will also review amendments to a number of laws, including the Consumer Credit Act, the Penal Code, the Protection Against Discrimination Act, and the Railway Transport Act.
