Mario Smarkov has taken office as Regional Governor of Varna

The newly appointed Regional Governor of Varna, Mario Smarkov, has officially taken office. He emphasized that the administration will continue to work openly for the citizens, without any drastic changes to the current organization.

"The administration will remain open to citizens, and we will continue our cooperation with law enforcement agencies and municipal mayors for the sake of the people," stated Smarkov.

  • Focus on social needs and infrastructure projects.

One of Smarkov's first commitments involved the transfer of a 7-decare plot to the Municipality of Varna (Nikola Kanev St.) for the construction of a new kindergarten – an important step in alleviating the shortage of places in preschool institutions.

We remind you that Mario Smarkov is an experienced administrator who has held the position of Regional Governor before, and in the last parliamentary elections, he was also elected as a Member of Parliament from the 3rd Varna Multi-member Constituency.
