Gosho Atanasov, an engineer, has been named head of the Regional Directorate for National Construction Control (RDNSK) in Burgas. The directorate announced the appointment on its official website.
He takes over from Keti Valkova, who had been acting head.
Atanasov is a former councillor in Sredets. He ran for mayor there for the Bulgarian Rise party.
He studied electrical power engineering at the Technical University in Varna. He is a member of the Chamber of Engineers in Investment Design in Sofia.
