A prestigious international forum dedicated to digital technologies and game development will transform Burgas into a creativity epicenter over the next two days. Black Sea Game Summit promises a large-scale event that will unite leading professionals from around the world.
The forum, organized by CreaTech Bulgaria in collaboration with the municipal administration, is a strategic part of Burgas's bid for European Capital of Culture in 2032. The event will attract experts from nine countries, including Germany, Finland, Poland, and other regional partners.
The professional program includes diverse thematic panels, lectures, and discussions with the participation of established organizations such as European Games Developer Federation, Slovak Game Developers Association, and United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.
In addition to the official part, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy additional attractions, including a cosplay performance and a board games zone. A special highlight will be the musical performance by the Verya project, presenting fantasy music with the participation of prominent Bulgarian performers.
Maria Anastasova, known for her voice in Baldur's Gate 3 and a BAFTA music award winner, together with Ivayla Todorova, will transport the audience to magical worlds through harp performances.
Parallel to the main program, the forum will also include an awards ceremony for the winners of VR Hackathon 2025 – an innovative 48-hour challenge for creating virtual experiences, organized jointly with UNODC, Web3 Foundation, and Burgas Lab.
