On August 31 and September 1, the courtroom will continue to host sessions regarding the serious ATV accident that occurred in the Sunny Beach resort. The trial is focused on hearing from expert witnesses who prepared reports that serve as a key part of the prosecution's evidence.

Over the course of the two days, the court is also expected to review a video recording that captured the moment of the collision. The tragedy took place on August 14, 2025, when the ATV operated by Nikola Burgazliev struck pedestrians on a sidewalk. Following the incident, Hristina was admitted to the hospital in critical condition, but she passed away from her injuries on September 3. Her son, Martin, was also seriously injured but survived.

According to the prosecution, Burgazliev was operating the vehicle while under the influence of marijuana. He is charged with causing death with indirect intent, as well as causing bodily harm to the other victims. The defense is challenging some of the presented circumstances, including the results of the drug tests.
