How to apply for targeted heating assistance 2026/2027

The Directorate for Social Assistance – Sozopol informs citizens that the acceptance of applications for the 2026/2027 heating season is open.

The deadline for submitting applications is October 31, 2026.

Where and how to submit documents?

  • In person at the Directorate for Social Assistance (DSP) – Sozopol or at the remote offices in the town of Primorsko;
  • Through the town halls in the populated areas of both municipalities;
  • Through the Secure Electronic Delivery System;
  • Through a licensed postal operator;
  • Via email (with scanned signed documents).

Conditions for receiving the assistance

The assistance is granted for a period of 5 months (from November 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027). The main requirements are:

  • Average monthly income for the last 6 months below the specified differentiated threshold;
  • For the unemployed: mandatory registration at the Labor Office at least 3 months before submitting the application;
  • Requirements regarding property status and no real estate transactions in the last 2 years.

Required documents

  • ID cards of all family members;
  • Documents for gross income (employment relationships, rents, scholarships, etc., for the last 6 months).
