The Central Election Commission (CEC) will draw lots tomorrow to decide whether Iliana Yotova or Andrey Gyurov speaks first in the addresses to voters before the presidential run-off, the CEC said.

The draw is public and starts at 10:30am in the National Assembly building.

On Bulgarian National Television and Bulgarian National Radio, each candidate for president and vice president can speak for up to 10 minutes. The addresses will air on 30 October 2026, the last day of campaigning between the two rounds.

Envelopes of the same size will go into a box. Each holds the names of the approved candidates and the name of the party, coalition or initiative committee that nominated them. The candidates will speak in the order the envelopes are drawn.

The run-off, which the CEC has set for Sunday, 1 November, pits Iliana Yotova and Kiril Valchev against Andrey Gyurov and Georgi Kandev. Yotova and Valchev won 528,951 valid votes, and Gyurov and Kandev 486,232.
