People protested outside the Palace of Justice in the evening against the Sofia City Court's decision to release early from prison the driver who caused the death of journalist Milen Tsvetkov.

Tsvetkov died in a crash on Cherni Vrah Boulevard in the capital.

The protest was organised by Nikolay Popov, whose daughter Siyana died in a car crash.

The protesters do not accept the ruling. They want fair sentences for those who kill on the roads.

The ruling is not final and can be appealed.
