On June 8th at 7:00 PM, the Adriana Budevska Drama Theatre in Burgas will host one of the most exciting theatrical projects of the season – the solo performance "Cries from the Underground".

"Nietzsche wrote that in "Notes from Underground", the truth is not presented as a philosophical argument, but screams in pain, because that is the only way it can manifest," shares director Stoyan Radev.

The actor behind the character

Taking the lead role is the talented Yordan Rassin, known to the general public for his role in the hit series "Mamnik". The actor, who is a recipient of the prestigious Askeer and Ikar awards, delivers a captivating interpretation of Fyodor Dostoevsky's iconic character. The play is nominated for the 2026 Askeer award in the "Solo Performance" category and is part of the "Varna Summer" festival selection.
