The "Classical Like Never Before" Concert in Burgas

On July 29, the courtyard of the "Flora" Exposition Center will turn into a stage for a world-class musical event. The international ensemble The Eastern Quartet is coming to Burgas to present a program that blurs the lines between genres.

"A musical journey that combines classical precision with Balkan passion and jazz improvisation."

Who are the musicians in The Eastern Quartet?

  • Sorin Spasinovici (viola) – an alumnus of the EU Youth Orchestra and a member of Simon Trpčeski's ensemble.
  • Atanas Marinov (clarinet) – a Bulgarian with a rich international career and winner of prestigious musical awards.
  • Serafim von Vera (accordion) – an expert in Balkan musical traditions.
  • Dominik Blum (piano/multi-instrumentalist) – a virtuoso in the fields of classical music, electronics, and jazz.

What to expect from the program?

The concert promises a new interpretation of timeless works by composers such as Johannes Brahms, Astor Piazzolla, Aram Khachaturian, and Antonio Vivaldi. The performers intertwine oriental motifs and jazz elements, breathing new life into familiar classics.

After successful tours in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and South Korea, the ensemble is ready to captivate the Burgas audience.
