The play "The Enamored Airship" by the Drama Theatre – Plovdiv will be performed in Burgas on October 8 at 7:30 PM at the NHK Cultural Center. As part of the IX Port Prim Art Fest program, this production is held in support of Burgas's candidacy for European Capital of Culture 2032. The festival is organized by Grand Hotel & SPA "Primorets" with the support of the Burgas Municipality.

Through Alexander Sekulov's dramaturgy and Diana Dobreva's direction, the production weaves visual imagery, music, and words into a narrative about the power of poetry and the fragility of the creator. The themes of "The Enamored Airship" are inspired by the lives of iconic Bulgarian poets such as Miryana Basheva, Ivan Metodiev, Grisha Trifonov, and Dobromir Tonev. Both critics and audiences describe the performance as a powerful and spectacular production.

The production is a major favorite at the country's most prestigious theater awards, winning the 2026 "Askeyer" for Best Performance and receiving six nominations each for the "Askeyer" and "Ikar" awards. The play was also honored with the 2026 "Ikar" for the debut of Paola Maraviglia, as well as the 2026 "Ikar" for original music by Sashko Kostov and Yavor Karagittliev.

The cast features actors such as Konstantin Elenkov, Martin Rakov, Maria Sotirova, Boris Krastev, Paola Maraviglia, Alexandra Svilenova, Ivana Krumova, Nikolay Stanoev, and Gabriela Chonina.
