On Wednesday, March 4th, at 7:00 PM, the premiere of the opera "Carmen" by Georges Bizet will take place on the stage of the Burgas State Opera. The conductor of the spectacle is Ivan Kozhuharov. In the main roles, we will see mezzo-soprano Velichka Minkova as Carmen and tenor Valery Georgiev as Don José.

Velichka Minkova, winner of numerous awards, makes her debut on the Burgas stage. In the role of Carmen, she promises to present the irresistible gypsy with her thirst for freedom. Valery Georgiev will embody Don José, torn by his love for Carmen and traditions.

The spectacle will also feature Valery Turmanov as Escamillo, Delyan Slavov as Zuniga, Stefka Hristozova, Maria Yurkovskaya, Andrey Yurkovsky, Yani Nikolov, and Yordan Hristozov. The director of the production is Darina Glavanakova-Bakardzhieva. The orchestra, choir, and ballet of the Burgas State Opera, as well as the Children's Choir "Milka Stoeva", will complete the magical atmosphere.
