“Hotel Between This and the Other World” is a play about meaning, illusions, and enlightenment – about what truly matters. This is one of the most beloved plays by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, in which the author confronts the characters – and the audience – with the biggest questions: Who deserves a second chance? Is there justice? What determines destiny?

The production by the Bulgarian Army Theatre visits Burgas at the invitation of the cultural organization “Art Atelier 77” on January 14th at 19:00 in the “Toncho Rusev” hall of the Cultural Center of NHC.

In a mysterious hotel, between life and the afterlife, the characters reveal themselves completely – with weaknesses, insights, fears, and hopes. The story unfolds as an interactive game, where the audience is an unwilling participant in the moral dilemma. The plot keeps the tension like a crime film, but at the same time, it is filled with subtle humor, brilliant dialogues, and unexpected twists.

The production is by Ivan Urumov, the set design and costumes are by Nina Pashova, music: Doni - Dobrin Vekilov. The following actors participate in the play: Darin Angelov, Georgi Karkelanov, Antoaneta Dobreva – Neti, Ivan Radoev, Eli Koleva, Anastasia Ingilizova, Vladimir Mateev, Yasen Atanasov. The play is not suitable for children under 10 years old. Tickets are sold at the NHC box office.
