Bulgaria is establishing itself as a key host of a prestigious sporting event on the European calendar, focused on the development of young tennis talent. From October 4 to 11, the city of Burgas will serve as the venue for the Junior Orange Bowl European Playoff Series. According to the Bulgarian Tennis Federation, these official European playoffs provide a unique opportunity for the most prominent competitors in the 12 and 14 age groups to qualify directly for the final stage of the Junior Orange Bowl in Miami, USA.

The tournament is organized by the Bulgarian federation in close partnership with EDGE International and the Municipality of Burgas. The competition is a crucial link in the official path to the Junior Orange Bowl 2026 for all tennis players from federations affiliated with Tennis Europe. The matches will be held on the tennis courts at "Ezero" Park in Burgas, where 10 clay courts have been prepared. The competition will take place in four separate categories: boys under 12, girls under 12, boys under 14, and girls under 14.

The stakes for the young athletes are extremely high, as the top four competitors in each of the four categories will secure their place in the main draw of the Junior Orange Bowl 2026 in Miami. This means that a total of 16 of the most promising European tennis players will have the opportunity to take to the court against leading talents from all over the world. The Junior Orange Bowl itself is among the most recognized international youth events and has proven over the years to be an authoritative stage for growth on the path to professional tennis.
