Visitors to St Anastasia island can try scuba diving on Saturday and Sunday, 24 and 25 October, the island team and the Friends of the Sea club said.

The island's autumn dive is a tradition, and this year it will be a diving weekend. It starts at 10:00 on Saturday and ends at 12:30 on Sunday. Boats leave Magazia 1 on a set timetable.

A professional instructor will teach the introductory scuba lesson.

The island's manager, Pavlin Dimitrov, will talk about its history. The programme also includes a talk on recreational diving and on the history of the St Anastasia underwater park. The organisers say the weekend is a chance to visit the island and spend the end of the week in a different way.
