The production company "Break a Leg" continues its extensive summer tour with one of its most successful original titles. The comedy "And the Correct Answer Is..." will meet audiences in the summer theaters of Sozopol, Burgas, and Veliko Tarnovo, where viewers will see a story under the open sky in which the Balkan spirit, modern humor, and unexpected life twists go hand in hand.

Dates and cities

The play will be performed on August 10 in Sozopol at the "Apollonia" Summer Theater at 9:00 PM, on August 11 in Burgas at the Summer Theater at 8:30 PM, and on August 12 in Veliko Tarnovo, again at the Summer Theater, at 8:30 PM. Just less than a month ago, the newest title from "Break a Leg" - "Fishing with the Women," created by the same team, was also presented in the Old Capital.

The story on stage

Director Martin Karov takes the audience into the life of Desi, played by Luiza Grigorova-Makariev, a 33-year-old fan of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" from Pernik, and her husband Ogi, played by Hristo Padev, a former hope of "Minyor Pernik." A clash between science and conspiracy theories, an affair, and an unexpected phone call put the characters, along with their friend Slavka, to a test that pushes them into absurd situations in search of the truth.

The role of Slavka is played by Boryana Batoeva. The performance has already won the approval of the audience and was awarded the Audience Award at the Third National Festival of Comedy Performances "The Miracle" in Pavel Banya. For her performance as Desi, Luiza Grigorova-Makariev also received the award for best actress at the festival.

The company was founded in May 2023 by Luiza Grigorova-Makariev and Aleksandar Sano and develops theatrical projects across the country. The beginning was marked by "Closer," which has had over 80 performances and more than 50,000 viewers. Following it came the IKAR award-winning one-woman show "Pistol in a Tornado" with Vesela Babinova, and later "Ticket for America" with Bashar Rahal, Ivan Barnev, and Kristina Angelova, directed by Ivaylo Hristov.
