Weather in Bulgaria: Precipitation and Temperature Changes

The rainfall we are currently observing will end tomorrow, but meteorological models predict another similar situation at the beginning of next week. The situation dominating the country foretells certain challenges for the residents.

Today, due to the accumulated rainfall and cloudy weather, a significant daily temperature change will not be registered. Thermometers will remain at levels close to the morning ones, with fluctuations of one or two degrees, except for the extreme eastern regions and along the Black Sea coast, where the maximum temperatures will reach 18-19 degrees. The rains will continue to cover almost the entire country before noon, but in the afternoon hours a temporary cessation of rainfall is expected in the southern and southwestern regions.

During the night, the precipitation in most of the country will temporarily weaken and stop - last around midnight in the northwestern regions and along the southern Black Sea coast, but in the central part of Southern Bulgaria heavy rain is expected again. The minimum temperatures tomorrow will be in the range of about 1 to 6-7 degrees, and along the Black Sea coast - up to about 10 degrees.

On Saturday, cloudy weather will prevail, with temporary breaks in the cloud cover. Light rain will fall in some places in the southern and extreme eastern parts of the country. Temperatures will range from 10 to 15 degrees, being slightly lower in the high valleys to the west. A weak west wind will blow in the Danube Plain.

On Sunday, the minimum temperatures will be from about minus 1 to 5 degrees, and the daytime temperatures will rise and reach 14 to 19 degrees, with higher values expected along the sea coast. There will be insignificant cloud cover, and a weak west wind will continue to blow in the Danube Plain.

During the night against Monday, the cloud cover will increase and new precipitation will begin from the west. The minimum temperature will be within the range of 5 to 11 degrees for most places, and the daytime temperature will drop and will be from 8-9 to 18 degrees in the eastern regions. During the day, the precipitation will cover most of the country.

The weather on Tuesday will remain cool, cloudy and rainy in places. Preliminary scenarios of meteorological models predict more sunshine and higher temperatures during the second half of next week.
