Weather: Snow and rain in the mountains, mostly cloudy in the country

Clear weather will prevail during the night, but in places in the valleys of Southwestern Bulgaria there will be conditions for frost to form. In the eastern half of the country, the cloud cover will be more often significant, and mainly in the eastern part of the Danube Plain there will be rainfall, mixed with snow in some places. A weak to moderate west-northwest wind will blow. The minimum temperatures will be between minus 2° and 3°, in Sofia – around 0°.

The atmospheric pressure will increase slightly and will be higher than the monthly average.

Tomorrow, the cloud cover over the country will be more often significant and in places there will be light rainfall. In the morning hours, in some northern and mountainous areas, the rain will mix with snow. A moderate north-northwest wind will blow. The maximum temperatures will be between 10° and 15°, in Sofia – around 10°.

Over the Black Sea coast, the cloud cover will be significant and there will be rainfall in many places. A moderate northeast wind will blow. The maximum temperatures will be 10°-13°. The sea water temperature is 9°-10°. The sea swell will be 2-3 Beaufort.

Over the mountains, the cloud cover will be significant and there will be snowfall in many places, below 1000 meters – rain. A moderate to strong west-northwest wind will blow. The maximum temperature at 1200 meters will be around 3°, at 2000 meters - around minus 4°.

On Saturday, over most of the country, the cloud cover will remain significant and still in some places, mainly in the southwestern and mountainous regions, there will be short-lived rainfall, and in the mountains above 1500 meters – snowfall. The wind will weaken and will turn from the southeast. It will remain cool with minimum temperatures between minus 1° and 4°, and maximums – between 12° and 17°.

On Sunday, sunny weather will prevail, over the eastern and mountainous regions there will be significant increases in cloud cover, but only in some places will there be light rain. The wind will strengthen from the southeast. Daytime temperatures will rise.
