Property Owners in Elenite Holiday Village Demand Urgent Restoration of Electricity and Water After Flood

Property owners in the holiday village (h.v.) "Elenite" demanded the urgent restoration of electricity, water supply and sewerage in the area. They gathered in the village and stated that nearly four months after the flood there, there is still no electricity and water.

Disinfection has been carried out in the area of "Elenite".

They insist that the electricity distribution company replace and repair the electricity meters so that electricity can be switched on in the affected buildings. According to them, the living conditions in "Elenite" are inhumane, the situation is catastrophic, and the area smells of mud and silt.

Property owners recounted that the clearing of mud and waste is being carried out with trucks hired by them, for which they pay the expenses in full. They stated that they regularly pay the fees for the maintenance of their properties, as well as the taxes, but are considering stopping paying.

The National Construction Control Directorate (DNCS) issued an order to remove an illegal construction in "Elenite".

Those gathered in the holiday village expressed concern about the state of the river and the adjacent streams and called for them to be cleaned and reinforced to prevent new floods during rainfall.

The owners fear that with the onset of spring and new rainfall, the risk of new floods is high and insist on urgent measures from the institutions responsible for this.
