Renovations and New Places in Burgas Schools and Kindergartens

Days before the first school bell rings to announce the start of the school year, the city of Burgas is undergoing intensive renovation work in its schools and kindergartens. The initiative, undertaken by the municipal administration, aims to provide significantly improved conditions for the education and development of thousands of children, preparing the educational infrastructure for the growing number of students.

Data provided by the municipality reveals impressive numbers: this year, 2,800 places have been provided for first-graders, and the total number of students who will cross the school threshold exceeds 25,000. In response to the needs of the youngest, four new nursery groups have been opened. These new places are located in the kindergartens "Slaveyche", "Ran Bosilek", "Slance", and "Zvezditsa Zornitsa", representing a targeted step towards relieving pressure on parents and providing a better start for children.

Modernization Projects

The modernization projects cover various areas of the city. One of the leading examples is the kindergarten "Valshebstvo", where a modern air conditioning system, a photovoltaic system, and energy-efficient solutions are being built, guaranteeing both comfort and sustainability. In parallel, in the "Sarafovo" neighborhood, the new building of the kindergarten "Alen Mak" is expected to provide 50 additional places, which is vital for the growing area.

Extensive renovations are also being carried out in the school network. In the "Pobeda" neighborhood, the building of the "Hristo Botev" school is being renovated to welcome over 60 children preparing for first grade. This year, efforts to introduce a single-shift education system are supported by the construction of a new school building, which will serve nearly 2,000 students from the Acad. Nikola Obreshkov Vocational School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (PPMG) and the Georgi S. Rakovski Vocational School for Romance Languages (PGRE).

Additional key projects include the construction of a new branch of the Al. G. Kodzhakafaliyata Primary School in the "Kraymorie" neighborhood, which expands the scope of educational services in this area. At the same time, renovations are also being carried out on the building of the "Vasil Aprilov" school, which shows a comprehensive approach to improving the learning environment throughout the city.

These initiatives reflect the commitment of the local government to education and the creation of a favorable environment for the future of Burgas' children, who will soon fill the renovated classrooms and corridors with life.
