Bulgaria is welcoming a day with predominantly sunny weather, bringing summery feelings and high temperatures, according to data from Bulgarian National Television (BNT). The expected weather offers ideal conditions for recreation and outdoor activities, albeit with some local peculiarities.

National Forecast: Sun and High Temperatures

Today will be marked by sun and heat across the country, with maximum temperatures ranging widely between 28° and 33° degrees. The capital Sofia will enjoy a pleasant 29° degrees, promising a warm and comfortable day for the city's residents and guests.

Despite the generally sunny weather, Eastern Bulgaria will see temporary increases in cloudiness. These will be more significant in the morning hours, with light precipitation possible in isolated locations. However, this peculiarity will not spoil the overall feeling of warm and clear weather. The wind in this region will remain moderate, from the northeast, which will provide a slight air movement and make the heat more bearable.

On the Black Sea Coast: Ideal Conditions for the Beach

For sea lovers, the conditions on the Black Sea Coast look almost perfect. The forecast predicts predominantly sunny weather, which will attract thousands of tourists to the beaches. Similar to Eastern Bulgaria, light precipitation in isolated locations is possible before noon, especially along the southern coast. The moderate northeasterly wind will bring coolness and spread the scent of the sea.

Maximum air temperatures will be between 26° and 29° degrees, which is ideal for the beach. The temperature of the sea water remains extremely pleasant, reaching about 25° degrees. The sea swell is expected to be 2-3 balls, which is calm and suitable for swimming and water sports.

In the Mountains: Adventurous Spirit in Nature

The day promises good conditions for lovers of high peaks as well. In the mountains, it will be sunny, with scattered high cloudiness that will not prevent tourists from enjoying the panoramic views. A moderate wind from the east-northeast will create a fresh atmosphere.

Temperatures on the highest peaks will be lower, as is typical for mountainous regions. Around 11° degrees are expected on Musala, while it will be warmer on Cherni Vrah - about 14° degrees. These conditions are excellent for mountaineering and trekking, and a large flow of people is expected towards the high-altitude huts and trails.

The good news for all who love warm weather is that the forecast for the end of this week and the beginning of the new one remains extremely favorable. Sunny weather will prevail with no significant rainfall. Only isolated showers are possible in the afternoon hours, mainly in mountainous and alpine regions. The likelihood of these brief rains is higher on Monday and Tuesday, but they will not disrupt the overall feeling of warm and clear weather.

The wind will most often be northeasterly, mostly light, and in Eastern Bulgaria - moderate. Maximum temperatures in most parts of the country will remain high, ranging between 28° and 33° degrees, which reinforces the feeling of late summer or early autumn with plenty of sunshine.
