Police seized about 50 grams of marijuana and one gram of cocaine from a 21-year-old man in the Kraimorie district of Burgas, the Burgas regional police directorate (ODMVR) said.

Officers from the Fourth District Police Department in Burgas stopped and searched the man at about 5pm yesterday. He had a bag containing dried green plant buds, which turned out to be marijuana.

Police then searched his home. They found two more plastic bags of buds and a wrap of white powder, which police say is cocaine.

Police have opened fast-track proceedings.
