Burgas's First District Police Station has detained a 47-year-old local man on suspicion of stealing goods worth €24,500 from a warehouse in the Pobeda district, the Burgas regional police directorate said.

The man has admitted everything and returned some of the goods.

The warehouse belongs to a private firm and was unlocked. The items disappeared between 27 and 28 October.

Seven sectional garage doors, ten electric motors for them, six hinged metal doors and 50 remote controls are missing. Also stolen were installation and dismantling tools, two hammer drills, three cordless screwdrivers and other items.
