Talents from the vocal school at the Municipal Children's Complex (ODK) – Nessebar won five first-place awards at the 16th World Championship of Folklore "World Folk 2026". The large-scale event took place within the municipality, and the preparation and performance of the young artists were under the guidance of Dimitar Yordanov.

Gold medals were awarded to Maria Velikova, Teodora Mencheva, Damyan Karavasilev, and Manuela Shtereva. Trio "Sokay", consisting of Maria Velikova, Krista Markova, and Yoyana Stoyanova, also secured a first-place finish. With this participation, the students of the school have brought a successful conclusion to their busy summer competition season.

The 16th World Championship of Folklore "World Folk 2026" is a prestigious competitive forum that is part of a championship system with the rank of a world championship. The musical event brings together local, national, regional, international, and continental competitions dedicated to folk arts.
