Bulgaria won two medals at the Sports Acrobatics World Championships in Pesaro, Italy. Youth and sports minister Encho Keryazov gave awards to the national team's athletes and coaches.

Sofia Hristova and Hristiana Yulieva took silver in the women's pairs in the 13–19 age group. Simona Ivanova and Hasan Ismail won bronze in the mixed pairs in the 12–18 age group.

Bulgaria's acrobats also had several top-eight finishes in different age groups and disciplines. Every member of the national team who competed at the championships received an award.

Keryazov congratulated the athletes and said their success came from consistency, discipline and hard training. "You represent Bulgaria at the highest level and have every reason to be proud of what you have achieved," the minister said.

He said the athletes' hard work, persistence and dedication make them a role model for young people. "Your success can inspire many more children to take their first steps in sport, to believe in their abilities and to chase their dreams," he added.

The minister also thanked the federation's staff and the coaches for preparing the athletes and for developing acrobatics in Bulgaria. He said they had shown professionalism and commitment.

The leadership of the Bulgarian Sports Acrobatics Federation in turn thanked Keryazov for his support in preparing the national team and in sending it to international tournaments.
