Sozopol Municipality informs the residents of the settlements on its territory that in January 2026 a mobile point for collecting hazardous household waste will be available. The initiative aims to facilitate citizens in the delivery of hazardous waste from households and to contribute to the protection of the environment and public health.

In the mobile point, citizens will be able to hand over hazardous household waste free of charge, including old medicines, paints, varnishes and solvents, plant protection products, batteries and accumulators, mercury thermometers and the like. After their collection, this waste will be treated and neutralized in a safe and environmentally friendly way.

The mobile point will serve different settlements in the municipality according to a pre-approved schedule, and the service will be provided at specific time intervals in each place.

January 7, 2025
from 10:00 to 11:00 – village of Atia, residential quarter "Atia", next to the playground
from 11:30 to 12:30 – village of Atia, residential quarter "Miner", next to the grocery store

January 9, 2025
from 10:00 to 11:00 – village of Ravadino, in front of the town hall

January 15, 2025
from 10:00 to 11:00 – town of Chernomorets, opposite the post office

January 23, 2025
from 10:00 to 11:00 – village of Ravna Gora, in front of the town hall
from 11:30 to 12:30 – village of Rosen, in front of the town hall

January 28, 2025
from 09:30 to 11:30 – town of Sozopol, New town, near "Kita"
from 12:30 to 14:30 – town of Sozopol, Old town, to "Kotvata"

Sozopol Municipality calls on all residents to take advantage of the opportunity for "safe and environmentally friendly disposal of hazardous waste", thus helping to reduce the risk of pollution and create a cleaner and healthier living environment.
