The upcoming "seaside" derby between Neftochimic and Sozopol will take place on September 12 at 5:00 PM at the stadium in Balgarovo. The Burgas team enters this match following a convincing 3:0 victory over Rozova Dolina (Kazanlak), secured in the Karnobat final of the inter-district qualifiers for the Bulgarian Cup. The match was particularly significant as it marked the start of Todor Kiselichkov's second stint as head coach of the team.

The match unfolded unexpectedly for the "Sheyhovete," as the opponent from Kazanlak started more confidently and set a strong pace. Despite the "Roses" playing better, their luck turned against them just before halftime with an own goal by the experienced Ivo Ivanov. Only three minutes after the start of the second half, the situation worsened for the visitors when another one of their players sent the ball into his own net.

The final 3:0 score was sealed in the 85th minute by youth player Stiliyan Gangarov, who came on at halftime. He scored following a well-executed multi-pass attack, in which Hristo Georgiev and Miroslav Radev took an active part. A little earlier, Gangarov had come close to scoring but missed a 100% opportunity after his header went wide of the target.
